There is a Hadith from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) about the virtue of reciting Surah An-Nisa. The Prophet (PBUH) said whoever reads Surah An-Nisa will be as if he has given money on the path of God as much as the amount a Muslim inherits based on the content of the Surah and will be granted the reward of freeing a slave.

Clearly, this Hadith and similar ones are not just about reading the verses, but also contemplating and acting upon them in one’s personal and social life.
